It’s a busy summer at Fellows Auctioneers with July’s Luxury Watch Sale fast approaching. Taking place on Thursday 13 July, it is the perfect place to jump waiting lists and add watches to your collection for a fraction of their retail price.
With the help of their watch specialist, Steven Yambo, here are five lots to keep an eye out for:
Lot 126 - A Rolex bi-metal Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona chronograph bracelet watch
The biggest benefit of buying at auction is avoiding waiting lists and getting items for a fraction of the retail price and this Rolex Daytona is a perfect example. An extremely popular sports watch, this bi-metal model has diamonds set to the dial for an extra bit of bling.
Estimate £10,000 - £15,000
Lot 64 - An Omega 18ct rose gold Seamaster Co-Axial wrist watch
Not only does the 18ct rose gold work well with the blue dial and strap but this watch also comes with box and papers. It also has an exhibition case back which shows off the fantastic Co-Axial 8901 movement.
Estimate £3,500 - £4,500
Lot 14 - A Breitling stainless steel Chronomat B01 42 chronograph bracelet watch
This B01 42 is a recent Breitling model that boasts a stylish finish as well as an exhibition case back that lets you see the movement in action. It also comes with box and papers, what’s not to love?
Estimate £2,800 - £3,200
Lot 158 - A Tudor stainless steel Oyster Prince Submariner bracelet watch
If a Rolex is out of your price range, then look no further than Tudor. Considered as Rolex’s baby brother, Tudor watches are made to an excellent standard. This popular vintage model has a beautifully aged dial which helps it catch the eye.
Estimate £2,500 - £3,000
Lot 148 - A Tag Heuer bronze Autavia wrist watch
This Autavia stands out due to the unusual bronze case and dial. The watch is in fantastic condition and comes with box and papers. It also has a titanium case back as bronze can tarnish the skin.
Estimate £1,200 - £1,800
