Valérie Messika is no stranger to seeing her jewellery worn by some of the world’s most famous – and stylish – women.
Charlize Theron, Lady Gaga, Hailey Bieber, and Jennifer Lopez have all been seen in Messika.
The Parisian jeweller’s most A-list fan has to be Queen B. In 2014, Beyoncé asked to borrow a Glam'Azone ring after seeing it in the Messika window at the Le Royal Monceau hotel.
Since then the artist has regularly be seen supporting the brand – whether that’s a custom-made high-jewellery necklace at the Super Bowl or £1m worth of diamond jewellery beside the Mona Lisa in the Apes**t video.
Next up was Gigi Hadid. In 2017, the supermodel collaborated with Valerie on to design two jewellery collections for the brand alongside a stunning campaign shot by Mert and Marcus.
And then in 2019, Sylvia Hoeks, Joan Smalls and the iconic Kate Moss became the ‘Messika muses’. The latter helped co-design two collections, both of which have featured in the pages of Square Mile.
But where do you go from Kate? Well… Kendall.
Kendall Jenner is the latest global star to take up the Messika mantle, shooting the new campaign in Saint-Tropez with Australian photographer Chris Colls.
As Valérie explains, “Kendall Jenner embodies this new generation of fashion icons.
“She is reflective of the key style codes which make up Messika style. She is both a free and confident woman.
“She has an assertive yet natural style. I see in Kendall an incarnation of the alpha woman: mysterious, free and in control of her own destiny.
“She is also a strong and influential woman. She is one of the 2.0 top models; a reflection of the new generation.”
