The Wessex Watches journey begins at its Wiltshire workshop. Once you talk to Jamie, the company founder, you’ll be led through every aspect of the design process by one of its artisan watchmakers.

You can even opt for a fully bespoke item – created from something as simple as a single drawing – or go on a customisation journey.

During the process of creating your unique timepiece, Wessex will create artwork, designs and one or more prototype brass dials, all of which will be shared with you along the way, not only for your approval but also to make the whole experience truly personal.
You can even have the prototype dials delivered with your completed timepiece.
The movement
Wessex utilises only fine and proven Swiss mechanical movements, both manual and automatic winding, in their watches and you will be given a choice of movements based on the type of watch you wish to create with them.
Take, for instance, the incredible UT 6497 Elaboré Art Deco skeleton found in the Peerless Models.
With a beryllium glucydur balance wheel, Nivarox balance spring, and advanced Incabloc shock protection, this little stunner is far from a stock movement and totally befitting the Peerless concept.

From the choice of movement, case, and strap to, most importantly, the precise design of the engraved dial(s) and the accompanying hands, ultimately, the aim of Jamie and the team at Wessex is not only to make your watch unique but uniquely yours.

This timepiece incorporates not one, but two, painstakingly handcrafted dials in 925 sterling silver.
The lower dial machined with two guilloché and a top dial meticulously cut-away, engraved and hand-painted, creates an architectural feast for the eyes.
