The Sky Garden Winter Pop-Up
Park your fears at the door as you pass through security and scale number 20 Fenchurch Street to reach Sky Garden, a play palace in the sky. This winter they’ve partnered with Moët & Chandon to host a pop-up offering winter cocktails, vin chauds, alpine toasties, token tartan embellishments – and champagne, of course. Rent a Hot Tug
Like so many questionable concepts, it’s damn good fun once you loosen the tie. Throughout January you can rent a “Hot Tug” and sail along a Central London canal in the World’s first floating hot tub. Unwind, semi-naked, as you float for 75 minutes in your vessel, with a captain to make sure you make it back to shore. A tub fits 7 people @ £220. Social Concierge’s All That Glitters @ W Hotel
London and New York’s private dating club Social Concierge has partnered with W Hotel’s new bar for a glitzy, boozy and dressed up affair. The event will see 150 eligible 20/30-something singles drink, network and flirt, with welcome drinks on the house and charming hosts to ramp up the action.

Monkey 47 Winter Lodge
In the stunning courtyard of Holborn’s Rosewood Hotel, German gin brand Monkey 47 have erected a Black Forest winter retreat for those determined to ignore Dry January. Step into the cosy lodge and guests can experience the home of British Wing Commander Montgomery “Monty” Collins. As well as stiff drinks, chef Calum Franklin – of Holborn Dining Rooms – will serve up his famous pies. For added visuals, Belstaff have provided stylish uniforms for staff to wait on you in. Backyard Cinema’s Snow Kingdom
Backyard Cinema, who recently performed the ultimate throwback with a Miami Beach themed pop-up, has launched the Snow Kingdom for outré cinemagoers to enjoy till March. Films include Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscar-winner, The Revenant, as well as the rip-roaring Baby Driver. Enter through an ice cave, and end up in the grand ballroom of an enchanted castle.
