The best new hot tub concepts
Hot tub cinema? Pah, that's SO 2000 and late. We give you three of the newest bubble bath concepts to get you hot and steamy this summer

For hungry bathers: Supper tub
When it comes to hipster pop-ups, East London is the place that just keeps on giving. The latest concept invites you to get wet and wild with seven mates (or strangers, if that's more your thing) as you relax in a wood-fired steaming hot tub for two hours. It's all about decadence, so sip on your pisco sour, chow down on three courses of South American canapés, and indulge in some party games amidst the bubbles – underwater hunt the thimble anyone? You'll be dining alfresco, looking out onto the leafy environs of Hackney Wick as the stars start twinkling, so it's ideal for getting romantic with a date. Just make sure you pack your best swimming togs to make a good impression. Afternoon and evening tickets are £45 for three courses, a cocktail, and some very wrinkly fingers.

For happy sailors: Hot tug
What good is it having a hot tub in your garden, where only the neighbours can see it? What you really want is to sail down the Thames in your private hot tub, laughing loudly and clinking champagne glasses with six of your mates, as passers-by glare at you in envy. It's possible with the Hot Tug: a tub powered by a steam wood-burning stove which heats the water and fires up the engine, allowing to sail merrily down the stream. The water heats up to 38°C, so you can take your heated boat for a spin even in mid-winter. Plus you'll have that beer jacket to keep you extra toasty.
From £90 per hour to rent or from £13,118 to buy. For more info, visit hottug.nl

For chilly travellers: Hydro Hammock
What will you be packing on your next intrepid camping trip? Baked beans: check. Sleeping bag: check. Hot-water filled giant hammock: check, obvs. One for the glampers out there, the Hydro Hammock takes relaxation to the next level. The hammock can be filled with whatever water you have to hand, be it lake, river or salt, and can be tied to trees or laid in a pit in the ground or at the beach. You'll probably need more than your trusty bucket and spade to fill it, though – the hammock has a 50-gallon capacity. The hammock material is made out of waterproof fabric and has double-walled insulation and a heating system to keep you warm as you and a friend let it all hang out by swinging around in the great outdoors.
