How do you redefine the road bike? This was the question that Ribble Cycles set out to achieve when it designed the Allroad. The results speak for themselves: world-class aerodynamic performance and mixed terrain adventures, this is bike that offers greater capabilities than any of its peers, and it does it all without compromising on speed or comfort. Just as its name suggests, the Allroad is a bike for all roads.
The culmination of an intensive three-year R&D and real-world testing process, including top-of-the-line advanced technology and manufacturing processes, the Allroad range is informed by Ribble's flagship Ultra Road aero platform that has then been carefully optimised by its design team for a more relaxed all-day, multi-surface ride experience.
It's this clever combination of performance, endurance, and comfort that is the secret to the Allroad's success, as Ribble's head of product, Jamie Burrow, explains: “Our extensive R&D program has enabled us to introduce key findings into the Allroad range giving each bike a competitive advantage and performance edge resulting in a complete package for all riders. The Allroad platform has been meticulously designed and fine-tuned to offer an incredible all-day endurance ride paired with unbeatable performance.”

The range comprises of three models – Allroad SL, Allroad SL R and Allroad SL R e – with each sharing aerodynamically optimised tube profiles, new endurance specific geometry, improved tyre clearance of up to 38mm (SL R & SL R e models), multiple mounting points (including hidden mudguard mounts), multi surface versatility and striking signature design livery.
One of the key innovations is the all-new Ribble UB2 bar (Ultra Bar 2nd Gen), available on the SL R and SL R e. Taking all the advantages of the patented Ultra handlebar’s air-flow-disrupting wake generators, aero-sculpted drops and direct mount brake levers, and optimising them for an endurance road setup, the UB2 carbon handlebar brings added adjustability to the fully integrated, cable-free ergonomic design for all-day riding on the hoods or drops.
The flagship Allroad SL R incorporates the aerodynamically advanced technology from the class-leading Ultra Road platform to create a superlight machine designed to slice through the air with ultimate efficiency. Combined with a bespoke blend of carbon fibres, it is not only exceptionally lightweight at just 7.5kg but it's as strong as they come, too.
Its brother, the Allroad SL R e features all of the performance advantages of its kin, but harnesses the power of the MAHLE X20 drive system to offer optimal power assistance on even the steepest of climbs. It is the pinnacle of lightweight carbon e-road bikes, weighing in at a stealthy 11.8kg.
Last but not least, the Allroad SL utilises a full carbon frame that is designed to be both lightweight (8.8kg) and robust, for whatever challenges lie in wait on the road ahead.
The Allroad range is available in recommended builds including; Sport, Enthusiast, Pro and Hero. The Allroad SL Sport starts at £1,699 up to the Pro at £2,999. The Allroad SL R Sport begins at £2,999 through to the range-topping Hero spec at £8,299. The Allroad SL R e Sport starts at £3,999, through to the Hero spec at £8,499. There is also the option of fine-tuning the specification using Ribble’s Configurator and livery can be further personalised using their CustomColour proposition.
