Mark Hedley is Managing Director of Threadneedle Media, the publisher of Square Mile, Foodism, Escapism, HEDGE magazines, alongside The Waterside Inn magazine. He was part of the team that founded Square Mile 20 years ago – and his day-to-day job is editing the magazine. Originally, he began his career as a photographer but rapidly realised, like many great British sportsmen, he was more suited to sitting down. He has a passion for fine wine, fast cars and luxury travel – none of which he can afford, so it’s just as well he became the editor of a luxury lifestyle magazine.
