Audemars Piguet
[Re]master01 Selfwinding Chronograph
Audemars Piguet’s superb [Re]master01 was one of our favourite watch launches of 2020. Indeed, it was a two-time winner at last year’s Square Mile Watch Awards. Like a remastered recording from the 1940s, [Re]master01 reinterprets one of Audemars Piguet’s rarest chronograph wristwatches using the latest tech and improving the dial design. It is simply beautiful to look at – a masterclass in form, function and watchmaking proportions. This father’s day, give your old man a watch that even Old Father Time would be proud to wear.

Remy Martin
Limited-edition bottle of Rémy Martin XO designed by Atelier Thiery
Head over to London’s Design Museum this month and you’ll be confronted with a giant glimmering mobile sculpture designed by Charles Kaisin. It was created for Rémy Martin as a celebration of French craftsmanship and is made of 1,724 centaurs hand-gilded by goldsmith Atelier Thiery. To celebrate the collaboration, there’s a new limited-edition bottle of Rémy Martin XO, designed by Atelier Thiery that features an 18-carat gold leaf. The bottle is enclosed in a gilded case inspired by the centuries-old French technique of ‘Verre Eglomisé’, which pays tribute to the richness of up to 400 eaux-de-vie composing Rémy Martin XO. The exclusive bottle will be available at Selfridges from 1st June. It’s a baller gift for any father who loves his cognac.

The House of Creed
Viking Cologne
A viking might not be the first historical figure you associate with your father. But if we told you that vikings were actually urbane explorers who enjoyed the finer things in life, then perhaps the description might be a better fit? As it turns out, vikings have received an unfair cop in the history books – and rather than savages were a much more sophisticated and peripatetic race. They were the inspiration for the House of Creed’s original Viking fragrance. And now, there’s a new fresh take, Viking Cologne. You can read more about it here, but it’s the perfect scent for anyone with a sense of adventure.
