The Drop Off, a theatrical event like no other by the Immersive Ensemble, is extending its run for another month. London is your stage, and the action takes you to some very unexpected places.

The premise is simple. A man named Danny Walker has gone missing. Crime lord Ed Temple has contracted you and your team to find him. What happens next depends on which of the three groups of four you are split into, as no group will share exactly the same experience. Square Mile received a mobile phone in an envelope, tailed a woman through London Waterloo, shared a glass of wine with Mr Temple halfway up the Shard and zipped around the Tube like we were recreating the chase scene in Skyfall. (No explosions, don't worry.) Later we met the other two teams for a climatic speedboat ride up the Thames.

Do you find Danny? That would be telling. Why did he vanish? See the previous answer. However it's no spoiler to reveal your loyalty to your client will be called into question, and over the course of the evening you will be increasingly forced to pick a side. This isn't a straightforward decision, as every character you encounter will give you a different side of the story. We say 'story'... Gazing over the lights of London, sipping on a fine red as Ed Temple purrs about the importance of loyalty, you may temporarily forget the performance aspect of the evening.

To say more would be to ruin the delights of a truly unique experience. Check your email after booking, keep your phone charged and wear yellow. Good hunting.

With the additional dates, The Drop Off will run from 6 November to 3 December 2016. The experience takes place entirely within zone 1 and is easily accessible by public transport. Be warned, only twelve people can attend each show, and tickets are limited and selling fast.
