From David Haye to Chris Eubank Jr, the modern boxer tends to be a smartly dressed chap. Yet a new British clothing brand is delving into boxing history for inspiration.
The results? (Don’t say knockout. You’re better than that.)
A surefire sartorial hit!
British Vintage Boxing (BVB) is a brand born from passion and experience. An affinity with an organic retro style that captures the atmosphere of yesteryear; BVB blends this with a love of old-school boxing spanning the last century.
The result is a label sporting a military aesthetic, crafted for uncompromising fit and quality and with a very natural style at its core.
BVB introduces the old-school boxing gym to the high street, capturing the demeanour and tailored style of the much-loved Henry Cooper during his 1960s heyday. Indeed the exploits of Cooper – who famously floored Muhammad Ali before being stopped on cuts – provided the inspiration for the brand.
Open to all and exclusive to none, BVB is about meeting challenges in life and doing the very best you can with heart, passion and of course style. That’s a creed we can all get behind. We’ll see you in the ring.
